About the service
FloodCast is a pilot flood early-warning service for Italy. It provides the output of the national-scale FloodPROOFS hydrological model (running at 500 m resolution over ~500 river sections) using as daily meteorological forcing the Extremes DT data (IFS at 4.4 km).
